cows on parade

I have just completed a swap where each of us was given 3 outlines of cows which we had to decorate and put on an ATC. Here are my offerings

in 2001 Luxembourg hosted its own "art on cows" festival and the resulting decorated cows were auctioned for charity. Some of the cows can be seen here:

Hi Carol,
I travelled up through country towns to visit my Brother last Christmas and I stopped at a fruit growing town called Shepparton ...In a large park I stopped with my thermos of coffee and a drink for my dog Jessie.
In this beautiful park were models of cows made of fibreglass .They were on stands made of concrete and timber and were the same size of a cow..The park had at least 20 of these, all painted in a different way...some striped some in circles some as Christmas symbols some depicting the futility of war some of other planets and on and on they went ..not one the same....
I found the plaque at the entrance telling me that they were part of a project done by final year students(male and female) of design at the local TAFE college (Training and Further Education) I think this is what it means (Heather will let me know if I am wrong)
They were just wonderful, shining in the sunlight and to my amazement no one had painted on them or despoiled them in any way....In the city perhaps this would not be so.......
Perhaps cows are more important in the country or more relevant to the students...but they were beautiful..they made my day worthwhile on such a long car trip....

Now it so happens that I was in Luxembourg in 2001 and saw that exhibition. I loved it Carol and your images are fabulous.
