I didn't have any fibres in red, another excuse for a trip to the shop I guess. As for the newspaper it is a stamp that I have and I just stamped it repeatedly down the page - glad to know that it is going in the right direction. Never can tell!
yes I am not sure how one would tell Asian characters were in the right direction if one had not studied them. I am rusty but used to be rather fluent in Japanese from many years ago so I can tell at a glance... (and can tell that is a Japanese newspaper not a Chinese one, etc)...
The Soul Food Hermitage Store is the place where travellers, who plan to travel lightly, can stop to buy some supplies. The Messenger and Tote bags are perfect
for carrying your journal, scissors, glue and pens. Buy one and you will be ready to write anywhere, be it at the local coffee shop or while waiting for an appointment.
The Lemurian Playmates are a group who met in Nina’s Tree House and decided to work on Mail Art, Altered Books, Artistic Trading Cards and other art forms.

The tag looks perfect to me - the only thing I add is fibres through the tag hole. Perhaps some fine embroidery silks or strip of silk?
Looks great and hurray the newspaper is going in the correct direction! Love the red and black together!

Now I know where to send any oriental flavoured ephemera I find. I do love tags and this seems great to me.

thanks to everyone for your responses - I have left the tag alone, just need to add the fibres but I think it is finished.
